First Paddock is a family business: two brothers and one dad, run from New South Wales, with forty years of rural retail behind the advice.
Dad spent his working life in rural retail, and he has watched the same story play out for decades. Someone new to acreage walks in, gets handed a wall of jargon, and walks out with gear that does not fit their property, their animals or each other. Nobody did anything wrong, exactly. The store assumed knowledge the customer did not have, and the customer did not know what to ask.
That is the person we built this store for. If you have just bought your first few acres and you are searching "how do I keep sheep in" at ten o'clock at night, you are our people. We will tell you exactly what to buy, explain every product in plain English, and sell you a complete setup rather than a box of parts and a shrug.
What we promise
Plain English. Every product page explains what the thing does and where it fits in a working fence. If a word needs a dictionary, we define it on the page.
Complete setups. Our kits are checked twice so nothing is missing. If it is on the box list, it is in the box, and there is no third trip to town for the part nobody told you about.
Straight answers. If a cheaper option will do your job, we will say so. If we do not stock what you need, we will tell you what to look for.
Fencing your first paddock should not be intimidating. Start with one of our guides, browse by what you are keeping in, or email us what you are trying to do and we will point you at the right setup.
